Also known as the Gunpowder God is a new Deity that seems to have originated in Maconnias, but also has a strong following along the walls of Vanters' frontlines.
The entity that seems to speak through the sparks of forges and cannon fire, and the smoke of fires and explosions seems to be one of driving innovation and invention, stressing a requirement to create or improve just about anything that could be thought of. This drive borders on obsessiveness, and the 'perfectionism' borders on transmortalism. The deity first arrived in Derikes when fireworks from Kyutin were imported or sold by raiders in the ports of Maconnias, and a forgemaster filled a long pipe with the powder within the fireworks into a long pipe, capped it with heavy stones, and left it by his forge until the heat from the forge got hot enough to accidentally heat the pipe and ignite the powder. The result destroyed the pipe and left a hole in some nearby armor. While the idea of a pipe sized weapon is still a difficult and distant norm, the act led to the creation of cannons, spreading the god to Vanters and by a lesser extent Quercio. And before long, a Derikesan recipe for blackpowder was found.
Due to the transmortalism aspect attributed to the religion, and a particularly eccentric alchemist, a form of blackpowder had been made that -on top of it's normal uses for cannons and small fires or explosives- can be consumed by individuals for tremendous effects. Upon it's creation, it was immediately integrated into the clergy of the God, citing it as communion and useful tool for their believers to become more. This blackpowder -Called Blessed Powder- has also very quickly become a widespread drug throughout much of Eastern Derikes. Due to it's religious significance, it has become hard for many governments to properly regulate.
