The ancestral religion of Maconnias. Also called Reverence, the religion is founded on the idea that upon death, the souls of the departed leave the shell that was their body and enters the Beyond -theorized to be either the Positive Energy Plane or Negative Energy Plane though no one has been able to confirm as much- for a continued, eternal existence, and those who who suitable reverence to the departed may have their fortunes influenced positively. Proper funeral rites are almost exclusively funeral pyres, as it is a 'safe' way to dispose of the now useless husk of a shell.

More modern interpretations have begun to form a syncretic branch of the faith under the goddess Syrin, who is seen as the ruler of this 'Beyond' and carries out the good fortune to worshipping mortals as the monarch of the Departed's new eternal existence.
