A subcaste of the Ton in the caste system.

An Honored Ton is one who had became permanently injured or otherwise retired in the line of duty for the nation of Xaintongeais and have chosen to live privately, instead of continuing to contribute to the nation. Generally, the citizen is given a couple of acres of land and a handful of Geais to serve as servants, farmers, and/or assistants. However, in the event the exit from service is rather honorable, memorable, or otherwise noteworthy, the amount of acres and the number of Geais is increased based on the deed.
