Scorned by Icenia, exploiter of Kernowek, muck stirrer against The Oxen Federation, and vassal in all but name to Vanters. The nation of Vascony is greedy to it’s core. It does not produce anything better than the others, and is currently relying heavily on cash crops without regulation. This caused their economy and food sources to collapse, and Vanters -under Alexandra’s grandfather- swooped in and offered them the Economic Betterment Agreement to save them from famine. Vascony has overall failed, with only one farm being kept to regulation to ensure Vanters is completely and totally fed. The rest of the farms are back to cash crops again, and they have another 5 years before Alexandra will be granted their crown. The disparity between nobility and commoners is intense. When Dirander was toppled, they adopted some of the exposed plans for Icenia, though their own famine prevented their advance.
