But due to the encroaching of the Black Demesne, it has simply survived and weathered the storm. That is not to say it has been made weak. Under the mantle of Alexandra Termina Galsvern's rule, Vanters has thrived. Through the Vanters Inquisitorial Division, cults and unrest are stamped out at the root, and through the Economic Betterment Agreement that her grandfather had made with the Merchant Lords of Vascony, they will have even earned a territorial expansion despite the hell they have been stuck in.

The country exists in the north of Derikes, West of Ukkermarker, east of The Oxen Federation and Vascony, North of the Ulesian Sea, South of Quercio and the Swanto Desert which had been consumed by The Invasion of the Black Demesne. Their lands used to reach all the way north to the Straits of Urumashi.
