A continent on Olu'am in the southern hemisphere and suspected origin of The Invasion. A diverse spread of nations formed from the remnants of the Great Diutian Empire that had stretched from East to West across the entire continent. To the north, having lost a majority of their land to The Invasion, is Vanters with the lone standing city of Quercio standing with them. Along the east coast, facing the island nation of Lunaflos is the confederation of city-states known as Ukkermarker. West of that, just before the Ulesian Sea is the Rebel borne nation of Bastenaken, who sits perched atop the nation they rebelled from, Eastholm. West of Eastholm is the enigmatic nation of Xaintongeais and the blossoming industrial giant Maconnias. To the west, Derikes is home to Westfold on the Southwestern part of the continent, Icenia and Vascony quarreling above that, with Kernowek holding a false vigil against The Oxen Federation.

The Solid Sea exists to the south of Derikes, with the Coast of Pieces being to the east and Sea of Lamentable Expanses existing to the west. Finally, the Straits of Urumashi sit to the north, their shallow waters giving many on Derikes the thought that the continent of Urasha has already been invaded, if not destroyed, by the Black Demesne.
